At Deep South Hunting Camps, we’re thrilled to offer semi-guided and guided hunting experiences at our two amazing locations in Alabama and Florida. Located in the heart of the Alabama Black Belt, our 8,000 acre hunting camp encompasses Choctaw, Washington, Sumter, and Marengo counties. At our Alabama camp, we offer guided hunts built to keep things simple and put you in the best position for success.

The property is carefully set up with well-placed tree stands, shooting houses, and feeding areas across quality ground that consistently holds game. From whitetail deer and wild hogs to quail and turkey, the Black Belt region of south-west Alabama is known for delivering some of the finest hunting in the Southeast. With an extended deer season and rut activity often carrying into late January and February, hunters have more time and better chances to encounter mature bucks on the move. The region’s rich soil supports a thriving wildlife population—producing standout deer hunts, strong coveys of bobwhite quail, fired-up longbeards on the roost, and aggressive wild hogs.

Florida 

Over in North Florida, our property spans across Alachua and Putnam Counties, offering a diverse mix of hardwood forests, wetlands, and pine plantations that create ideal turkey habitat. This region is well known for its strong population of Osceola turkeys, providing excellent opportunities for hunters. With approximately 1,000 acres set up specifically for do-it-yourself hunts, our property gives hunters the freedom to scout, set up, and hunt on their own terms in true Osceola country.
